Following several beta cycles, Apple on Monday released iOS 12.3 to the public. Users can install the update via the OTA mechanism in the Settings app, or by visiting our Downloads page.
Headlining the update is the revamped TV app, which features a streamlined interface, enhanced recommendations and support for more streaming apps and services. Check out our full hands-on here.
Also included in 12.3 is support for Channels, Apple’s new a la carte programming plan. It allows users to subscribe to standalone streaming apps, without the need for a cable or satellite subscription.
Rounding out the update is support for AirPlay 2-enabled TVs, and a slew of bug fixes and improvements for News+, the Music app, Wi-Fi calling, and issues with the Apple TV Remote application.
