Apple offers 10% bonus on cash added to your Apple ID
For the rest of this week, Apple will chip in an extra 10 percent to funds added to App Store accounts. This is essentially free money for those willing to commit some cash to buying apps or other services at some point in the future.
How to add funds to Apple ID
Getting Apple’s 10 percent bonus just requires adding funds to your Apple ID. The process isn’t complicated.
To start, open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad. Next, tap on your Apple ID icon near the upper right of the display, which will open the Account screen. Tap on Add Funds to Apple ID on that page.
This opens a page with a handy description of this week’s offer. If it’s gone then you’ve missed this deal, which ends on May 10.
Up to $20 free
Below the description of this deal are various denominations that can be transferred into your Apple ID account. The minimum is $10, while the maximum is $200. Simple math shows that bonus amounts range from $1 to $20.
Please note that once funds are transferred to an Apple ID they can’t be shifted back. The only use for the money at that point is to buy apps or services.
